Eligibility Criteria
To ensure a diverse and dynamic group of participants, IYS 2025 has set the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be aged 15-40 years old.
- Open to all nationalities and academic backgrounds.
- Applicants must have a clean criminal record and must not be affiliated with any extremist organization.
How to Be Selected As Fully Funded Participants
To be selected as fully funded participants, delegates must register between August 10th and September 30th, 2024. During registration, participants are also required to write an essay. The essay can be written with the essay guidelines below:
- Write your essay max. 250 words by choosing one of the themes from 5 SDGs above.
- Any data entered into the essay must be accompanied by citations and references.
- Maximum reference is written in 100 words.
- It should demonstrate that you understand the topic by expressing your views clearly.
- It should have an overall argument involving an analysis of the issues and a critical evaluation of
different points of view.
The essay framework should be describing the context, and situation of the SDGs goals that the delegate will choose. While completing the essay, be sure to explain the role or idea you can contribute to achieving the SDGs. Additionally, it’s crucial to emphasize how your ideas can be delivered effectively and, furthermore, describe them in a way that clearly demonstrates their potential impact.
