The Japan Youth Summit 2024, organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), successfully brought together participants from 28 countries.

Visiting Fushimi Inari Taisha
The participants’ first visit was to Fushimi Inari Taisha, a famous Shinto shrine in Kyoto. The shrine is known for its thousands of red torii gates. It is near form a path up Mount Inari.
Each torii gate is donated by individuals or companies, symbolizing success and good fortune. The participants of the Japan Youth Summit 2024 enjoyed walking through these torii corridors.
The Delegates began to experiencing the deep spiritual atmosphere, and learning about the shrine’s significance in Japanese culture.

Learning The Japanese Technology and Innovation at Kyoto Railway Museum
Next, the participants visited the Kyoto Railway Museum. This place is a paradise for railway and technology enthusiasts. The museum showcases the history of railway development in Japan.
From early train models to the famous modern shinkansen, delegates could see various locomotives. Also they can try train simulators, and understand how transportation technology.
The technology has influenced Japan’s economic and social progress. This visit provided valuable insights into how innovation can drive positive change in society.
Experiencing Arashiyama Bamboo Grove
Their cultural journey concluded with a visit to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. This place offers breathtaking natural scenery with towering bamboo groves.
The pathways that wind through the bamboo forest provide a tranquil and peaceful experience. Summit participants walked through the bamboo forest, enjoying the natural beauty.
The delegates also learning about the importance of environmental conservation. This visit emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between development and nature preservation.

According to Faniyatul Mazaya and Dhohan Chaniagolla, two organizers of the Japan Youth Summit 2024, the participants were very pleased with the event. “The participants of the Japan Youth Summit 2024 thoroughly enjoyed the activities, especially due to the numerous international networks they discovered from friends and cross-country delegations who came to exchange ideas,” said Faniyatul.
