The LPI Summer Intern Program in Planetary Science provides undergraduate students with an opportunity to perform cutting-edge research, learn from widely respected planetary scientists, and discover exciting careers in planetary science. During the 10-week internship, students have opportunities to participate in enrichment activities, including lectures and career development workshops.

Benefits of the LPI Summer Internship 2024:
- Candidates will be given a $8,220 stipend during the entire program duration.
- Candidates will be offered traveling and accommodation allowances under the aforementioned stipend.
- International Candidates will be given an additional $500 for paying travel expenses.
- Interns who finish the program and submit an accepted abstract as the first author for the upcoming Lunar and Planetary Science Conference can get up to $1,000 to cover travel expenses.
Eligibility Criteria of LPI Summer Internship, USA:
- The scholarship is designed for undergraduates having 50 semester credit hours.
- Candidates with specialization in physical and natural sciences, computer science, mathematics, or engineering are preferred.
- Everyone regardless of gender, sex, or disability is eligible.
- Candidates will be selected based on their scholarship, curriculum, experience, scientific interest, career goals, and research projects.
- NO IELTS/TOEFL is Required if you can get English Proficiency Certificate from your professor of English at your university.
