Muhammad Luthfi Hidayat Encourages Global Muslim Youth to Play an Active Role in a Better Future

Muhammad Luthfi Hidayat, a lecturer at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), took center stage as one of the keynote speakers at the Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS), where he delivered a vital message regarding the active role of youth in fostering positive change. Currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Systems at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, Mr. Hidayat urged young people to “Think globally, act locally.”

Hidayat emphasized the significance of engaging with the global community to gain fresh perspectives and ideas that can help address everyday challenges. He stated, “Embrace small beginnings, for they lead to monumental achievements over time”. 

The Middle East Youth Summit, attended by youth delegates from 11 countries, was successfully held, providing a platform for young minds to share ideas, engage in meaningful discussions, and collaborate in addressing global challenges.

Muhammad Luthfi Hidayat’s message serves as a reminder for Muslim youth to actively participate in efforts toward a better future and create a positive impact within their communities.

The MEYS event demonstrated the successful collaboration and the potential for positive change when youth unite with a shared purpose.
