New Zealand Manaaki Scholarships are available to citizens of eligible countries. If your country is not on the list, the New Zealand Government does not offer any academic scholarships to you.

4. Whether we award scholarships to your country
If you do not meet all the eligibility criteria, then you cannot apply for the New Zealand Manaaki Scholarship.
Study Subjects
Study subjects that we highly recommend for your country, based on your country’s social and economic needs.
Benefits
1. full tuition fees.
2. living allowance (salary) of NZ$531 per week.
3. establishment allowance of NZ$3000.
4. health insurance while you are in New Zealand.
4. tutoring fees up to the value of NZ$1000, to assist with additional tutoring costs while you study if required.
5. travel to and from your own country. This is for travel from your own country at the start of your scholarship, and for travel home at the end of your scholarship.
6. travel insurance.
7. return home during your scholarship.
