UNICEF East Asia and Pacific’s Young People’s Action Team (YPAT) is established to ensure that young people are meaningfully engaged in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of UNICEF’s regional programmes and campaigns. From participating in regional and global events and forums to peer-to-peer networking and mentorship opportunities, YPAT members have access to various opportunities to further develop themselves as leaders.
Candidate requirements:
● Young people from across the East Asia and Pacific region
● Ages of 15-24 years old
● Passionate about children’s and young people’s rights
● Experienced in organizing or leading social impact initiatives with and for young people
● Able to commit a minimum of 8-10 hours/month for one year to virtual and/or in-person meetings
