ODI Fellowship Scheme 2024-2026 | Open to all Nationalities

ODI Fellowship Scheme 2024-2026 is an international fellowship for fellows who want to engage themselves with public sector organizations. You are invited to work in middle and low-income countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, The Western Balkans, and the Caribbean. The ODI fellowship will be working as a local civil servant under the direct reporting of local managers. Moreover, you will be allowed to work in multiple disciplines ranging from finance, planning, health, education, statistics, central banks, and regulatory bodies.

ODI Fellowship Scheme 2024-2026:

Host Countries:

  • Countries in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, the Pacific, and the Western Balkans. 

Host Organization:

  • Overseas Development Institute

Fellowship Level:

  • Master’s level.
  • Ph.D. Level.

Fellowship Duration:

  • The duration of the ODI international fellowship 2024-2026 is for two years.

Benefits of the ODI Fellowship Scheme 2024-2026:

  • The after-tax total compensation is around £32,600 annually in the first year and £34,600 in the second year. This package includes a housing allowance, which adjusts based on the in-country living costs.

Eligibility Criteria of the ODI Fellowship Scheme 2024-2025:

  • All nationalities are eligible.
  • Students with master’s or Ph.D. degrees in economics, statistics, or other related fields can apply.
  • Students, currently completing their post-graduation degree, they would be awarded after the completion of the degree.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Able to demonstrate an interest in formulating and strengthening public policies.
  • Related work experience is required.
