Youth from 11 Countries Come Together to Create a Spectacular Middle East Youth Summit in Makkah

The Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) has once again hosted its second historic event, bringing together young people from 11 countries to the holy city of Makkah. The event took place from September 19th to 22nd, 2023, at the Hotel Anjum and Park Inn by Radisson Makkah Al Naseem, located in the heart of Makkah Al Mukarromah.

MEYS is a program designed to facilitate meetings and collaboration among Muslim youth from various parts of the world, with the primary goal of empowering the Muslim community. The event serves as a platform for young people to engage in discussions, share ideas, and plan concrete actions that can benefit the global Muslim community.

Aldi Subakti, Chairman of the Middle East Youth Summit, emphasized the importance of unity within the Muslim community, especially in a rapidly changing world. He stated, “If every individual Muslim contributes to making a positive impact, imagine the extent of the positive change that can be achieved by a united group of Muslims.”

During this edition of MEYS, participants from different countries focused their discussions and activities on various relevant issues such as education, healthcare, the environment, and poverty alleviation. They also sought to identify innovative and sustainable solutions to these challenges.

MEYS’s second event was highly successful in facilitating the exchange of ideas and experiences among young people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Participants left feeling inspired and motivated to take concrete steps in improving the conditions of the Muslim community and the global society.

MEYS remains committed to being a platform that connects young Muslims to address global issues and make the world a better place for all. We look forward to the next MEYS event continuing to make a meaningful contribution to the unity and progress of Muslims worldwide.
