  • Communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively in diverse teams.
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to different challenges.

By fostering these qualities, the program ensures interns gain both personal and professional growth.

Internship Timeline

The internship program follows a structured plan:

  1. Orientation (Week 1): Interns learn about AUN, meet their supervisors, and understand their roles.
  2. Active Internship Period (Weeks 2-11): Interns actively participate in projects, gaining valuable experience.
  3. Evaluation (Week 12): Supervisors assess performance, and feedback is provided.

Logistical Arrangements

Interns are responsible for personal expenses such as visas, travel, and accommodation. However, if interns join missions with AUN officers, the Secretariat will cover transportation, lodging, and meal costs. An information package will be provided to help interns find accommodation and navigate local transport.

Evaluation and Certification

At the end of the internship, interns and supervisors participate in a two-way evaluation process. Interns will receive feedback on their performance, and their contributions will be assessed. Upon successful completion, interns receive a certificate signed by the AUN Executive Director, recognizing their skills and achievements. This certificate is a valuable addition to any resume or academic portfolio.
