Overview of the Role
The Fan Experience & Innovation Coordinator will report to the Manager of Fan Experience and Innovation. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing the digital and physical experiences of fans attending the FIFA World Cup 2026. By utilizing innovative technologies, the coordinator will help ensure a seamless experience for millions of attendees.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the alignment of organizational strategies with fan experience initiatives.
- Assisting in the development of new Tournament App features.
- Collaborating with stadium counterparts and internal functional areas to ensure smooth operations.
- Identifying and resolving technical gaps affecting stadium-based fan experiences.
- Monitoring app performance through testing and dashboards.
- Coordinating on-site digital and physical fan engagement activities.
- Refining fan experience requirements for each stadium to maintain accuracy and relevance.
- Developing a culture of innovation across functional areas to solve organizational challenges.
- Identifying and evaluating innovative companies and solutions for collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must possess a university degree or equivalent training in a relevant field. FIFA emphasizes the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Applicants should have exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Technical proficiency in tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Miro is essential. Additionally, fluency in English is required, while Spanish or French proficiency is a plus.
