The Istanbul Youth Summit 2024, organized by Youth Break The Boundaries Foundation (YBB), is set to spotlight four Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) themes, emphasizing global collaboration and innovative solutions. With expert speakers spanning diverse backgrounds, this event aims to inspire and empower youth leaders.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are universally accepted ideals to eradicate poverty, inequality, and safeguard the environment. The Istanbul Youth Summit serves as a catalyst for global youth to engage in the collective pursuit of the 2030 SDGs targets. By fostering sustainable development ideas, the summit becomes a platform for youth to contribute to international welfare and relations, aligning with non-state actors and organizations.

As part of its commitment to youth leadership, the Istanbul Youth Summit 2024 adopts the theme “Innovation and Collaboration: Unlocking Youth-driven Solutions for Sustainability.” The event strives to be an innovative organization, prioritizing collaboration and youth leadership development.

The summit, taking place in Istanbul, Turkey, from March 4 to March 7, 2024, will focus on four SDGs themes:

  1. Health and Well-being (SDG 3)
  2. Quality Education (SDG 4)
  3. Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8)
  4. Climate Action (SDG 13)

Prospective participants from each country are encouraged to create a social project aligning with these themes. Before becoming delegates, participants are required to submit essays on their chosen topics, promoting self-awareness and critical thinking among future leaders.
