A Rising Leader in Development Cooperation
Jooeun Kim will join Korea Youth Summit 2025 in Seoul as one of the confirmed speakers. The summit, organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), gathers global youth to exchange ideas, experiences, and culture.
Jooeun is currently pursuing her Master’s in International Studies at Ewha Womans University, majoring in Development Cooperation. She holds an impressive GPA of 4.26 out of 4.30. Her undergraduate degree was also completed at Ewha, focusing on international law and diplomacy.

International Experience That Matters
Jooeun has worked with several major institutions worldwide:
- World Bank Group – KGGTF
She developed impact analyses for green energy projects and supported knowledge-sharing programs. - CityNet Secretariat
She built SDG evaluation frameworks and curated over 400 case studies from Asia Pacific cities. - United Nations ESCAP
As a Social Affairs Intern, she conducted research, supported high-level forums, and co-authored reports on digital inclusion and elderly welfare. - Research Assistant at Ewha GSIS
She contributed to policy studies on humanitarian aid, regional development, and economic cooperation in Asia.
Her Role at the Summit
At the summit, Jooeun will discuss development cooperation in Asia Pacific. She will also highlight youth engagement in SDGs and the value of combining academic insight with real-world experience.
Her story shows how youth can lead and contribute to global development and policy.
