Surakarta, Indonesia – The Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta is opening internship opportunities for Indonesian students to join its Economic, Cultural, and Health Sections from January to April 2026.
This internship provides hands-on experience in diplomacy, international cooperation, and public engagement between Thailand and Indonesia.
Internship Overview
Selected interns will support the Embassy’s daily activities and contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between Thailand and Indonesia.
Internship period:
- 5 January – 30 April 2026
- Flexible end date if required
Work focus includes:
- Economic cooperation
- Cultural promotion
- Health-related collaboration
- Public outreach and communications
Key Responsibilities
Interns will support embassy staff through:
- Assisting in research and documentation
- Supporting cultural and public diplomacy activities
- Contributing ideas to promote Thai–Indonesian relations
Assisting with communication and coordination tasks - Helping manage content and outreach activities
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Indonesian citizen
- Undergraduate student (preferably junior or senior year)
- Background in social sciences (e.g., International Relations, Economics)
- Strong written and spoken English
- Skilled in Canva or other graphic design tools
- Familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Thai language is an advantage, but not required
