About the Role
The Operational Data Analyst will contribute to DOTS, WFP’s enterprise operational decision-making platform powered by Palantir Foundry.
The role involves engaging business counterparts to design and deliver end-to-end workflows that enable data-driven decisions.
You will work closely with developers, end-users and TEC Business Engagement Managers to align workflow solutions with WFP operational needs
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Act as Agile workflow owner for DOTS
- Analyse business problems + requirements
- Design end-to-end workflow solutions
- Model information, UI, reporting + integration elements
- Collaborate directly with developers and testers
- Conduct testing before rollout
- Support change management + user onboarding
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders
- Improve workflows based on user feedback
Required Qualifications
To be competitive, you should demonstrate:
- University degree in IT, business, analytics, HCD or related fields
- 4+ years relevant progressive experience
- Experience in agile project environments
- Experience with data analytics or visualization outputs
- Strong analytical + communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate with diverse, distributed teams
Preferred skills:
- Exposure to Palantir Foundry
- Knowledge of WFP processes
- Experience with data pipeline design
- Basic Python knowledge
- Knowledge of a UN second language
Deliverables and Expectations
During the contract period, you will:
- Deliver DOTS workflow solutions aligned to requirements
- Produce documentation + business process materials
- Build analytical components + data views
- Participate in change management materials
- Establish project metrics and methods of data collection
