Internship Responsibilities
As a Digital News Intern, you will work closely with Digital Reporters, Correspondents, and Editors. Your tasks will focus on CNBC.com, particularly its China coverage. This role provides an opportunity to develop journalism skills while learning about business and financial markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing and reporting news stories under editorial supervision
- Assisting the China correspondent with fact-finding, translations, and communications
- Learning to use charts, images, and videos to enhance storytelling
- Helping the Digital team manage articles from partner organizations
- Clipping videos for CNBC.com
- Participating in story idea discussions and pitches
