YBB – The Japan Youth Summit is one of the forums that brings together young people from various countries. In recent years, the name Japan Youth Summit has also been used for events organized by different parties. This makes it important for prospective participants to identify the organizer and review their experience in conducting similar programs.
One of the Japan Youth Summit programs is organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB). YBB has organized several editions of the Japan Youth Summit in Japan over the past few years, bringing together participants from various countries and featuring speakers from diverse professional backgrounds.
YBB Brings Together Dozens of Delegates from Various Countries
The Japan Youth Summit organized by Youth Break the Boundaries on July 2–3, 2024, was attended by 81 delegates from 23 countries. Indonesia had the highest number of participants, with 19 delegates. New Zealand followed with 11 delegates, while the Philippines sent 10.
A year later, the number of participants once again exceeded 100. On October 20, 2025, the event recorded 102 participants from 18 countries. They came from Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Vietnam, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Russia, Tunisia, Brunei Darussalam, and several other countries.
These figures reflect the international reach that has characterized the Japan Youth Summit organized by Youth Break the Boundaries across its various editions.
Meanwhile, the JYS events published by Global Youth Ambassador (GYA) have been held on a smaller scale. A post published on September 4, 2024, showed 19 people. In January 2026, the number reached 32 people, including committee members, speakers, and invited guests. A post from July 2026 showed 21 people, with a similar composition.

YBB’s Japan Youth Summit Has Been Held at Various Venues
The development of the Japan Youth Summit organized by Youth Break the Boundaries can also be seen from the venues used for each edition. In 2024, the event was held at Osaka Castle Hotel. The 2025 edition and 2026 Spring Edition were then held at Osaka International House. Meanwhile, the 2026 Autumn Edition is scheduled to take place at the Osaka International Convention Center (OICC).
The changes in venues show that YBB’s Japan Youth Summit is not limited to a single location. Each edition may be held at a different venue depending on the program and activities being conducted.
A different pattern can be seen in several JYS events published by GYA. At least three editions featured similar room settings and venue elements that point to Meiji Gakuin University.
Speakers Come from Diverse Backgrounds
Diversity can also be seen in the composition of speakers at YBB’s Japan Youth Summit. In a single edition, the forum may feature speakers from three to four countries with different professional experiences.
This composition gives participants the opportunity to gain perspectives from a range of backgrounds throughout the forum.
In the events published by GYA, several speakers have appeared in multiple editions. Some speakers have participated twice, three times, or even four times across the series of events.
These differences are among the factors prospective participants can consider when looking for information about programs using the name Japan Youth Summit.
Identify the Organizer Before Joining the Japan Youth Summit
The existence of multiple events using similar names makes it important for prospective participants to conduct their own checks before registering. The event name alone is not enough to determine which program they will be joining. The organizer’s identity, experience in conducting events, venue, speakers, and official information channels should also be considered.
YBB states that the Japan Youth Summit it organizes has an institutional basis and intellectual property protection for the Japan Youth Summit trademark. YBB also includes curation through SIMT Puspresnas as part of the information provided about the program.
YBB also states that several channels using the Global Youth Ambassador name are not official channels of the Japan Youth Summit organized by YBB. These include globalyouthambassador.com, Instagram accounts @globalyouth.amb and @japanyouthsummit, as well as the WhatsApp, email, and TikTok contacts listed in the information.
