Seoul, South KoreaGlobal Peace Youth Korea joined hands with Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) as one of the official partners of Korea Youth Summit 2025, a global youth forum that united delegates from 15 countries. Through meaningful dialogue and cultural collaboration, the summit became a vibrant platform for young changemakers to explore shared values and strengthen global solidarity.

As a partner organization, Global Peace Youth Korea introduced its mission of promoting youth empowerment, intercultural cooperation, and value-based leadership—all central to their long-standing work across communities in Korea and beyond.

Representing the Organization: Dong Chan Kim and Shreya Sahay

During the summit, Dong Chan Kim, Executive Director of Global Peace Youth Korea, took the stage to share the organization’s journey and commitment to building peace through youth engagement. With over a decade of experience, he emphasized how empowering young people with strong character and leadership skills can spark real impact—locally and globally.

Also representing the organization was Shreya Sahay, who offered a fresh international perspective on the summit experience. When asked about her impression of Korea Youth Summit, she shared:

“It was an amazing experience—especially the HAKA dance performance from New Zealand. I’ve seen it online, but seeing it live gave me goosebumps. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever experienced.”

When reflecting on culture and its role in today’s youth, she added:

“Live it purposefully, share it boldly, and give others the chance to experience the impact of your culture.”

For her, the summit could be summed up in one word:

“Impactful.”

Moving Forward Together
