The Japan Youth Summit 2025, organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB Foundation), has officially concluded in Osaka, Japan, from October 12–15, 2025. The event gathered hundreds of young innovators and changemakers from around the world, marking another milestone in YBB’s ongoing mission to empower youth leadership, cross-cultural understanding, and innovation for a sustainable future.
Under the theme “Innovate for Tomorrow,” the summit created a dynamic platform where participants exchanged ideas, presented social innovation projects, and engaged in discussions addressing global challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This year, the program received an overwhelming 44,000 applications from more than 80 countries. After a rigorous three-stage selection process consisting of essay submissions, interviews, and project evaluations, 800 participants advanced to the next round, and six outstanding delegates were selected as Fully Funded Participants—a recognition of their creativity, leadership, and commitment to community impact.
The Japan Youth Summit is a flagship initiative under Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB Foundation), a globally recognized organization legally registered under the Government of Indonesia and protected by HAKI (Intellectual Property Rights). This legal protection affirms YBB’s exclusive ownership and organizational rights over the Japan Youth Summit brand and program.
In recent years, YBB has consistently expanded its global reach through initiatives such as the Istanbul Youth Summit, Korea Youth Summit, Middle East Youth Summit, Youth Academic Forum, and Youth Leader Camp, all designed to connect passionate young minds to real-world problem solving and international collaboration.
“The Japan Youth Summit is not just an event—it is a movement that belongs to the youth and to every dreamer who believes in creating change through integrity and innovation,” said the YBB Secretariat. “We built this summit from the ground up, and we continue to protect its vision with honesty and accountability. YBB believes that youth deserve not only opportunities but also the truth.”
Throughout the four-day program in Osaka, participants took part in keynote sessions, leadership workshops, and cultural showcases that highlighted Japan’s innovation and global influence. The summit also served as a bridge between international youth communities and key stakeholders, emphasizing inclusivity, sustainability, and entrepreneurship as pathways toward a better world.
YBB Foundation takes pride in the transparency and credibility of its operations, ensuring that every participant, delegate, and partner engages in an authentic, safe, and empowering environment. The Foundation also reminds the public that the Japan Youth Summit held in Osaka, Japan, is solely and officially organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB Foundation)—a fact legally supported by intellectual property documentation and verified under Indonesian law.
Looking ahead, YBB Foundation remains committed to expanding opportunities for youth worldwide and invites young leaders to continue shaping ideas and initiatives in upcoming programs, including the Japan Youth Summit 2026.
