Johns Hopkins SOE Scholarships: Millions in Aid for 2025-2026

The Johns Hopkins School of Education (SOE) is committed to supporting students through generous financial aid opportunities. Each year, the institution awards millions of dollars in scholarships, including merit-based and need-based aid, donor-funded awards, and federal and state grants. With these funding options, students can reduce their financial burden and focus on their education.

A Wide Range of Scholarships and Grants

SOE provides multiple scholarship opportunities to help students manage tuition costs. Some are granted automatically upon admission, while others require an annual application. To be considered, new students must first submit their admission applications before applying for financial aid.

    • Available for Doctor of Education (EdD), select master’s, and graduate certificate students
    • Open to U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens

Additional Financial Aid Consideration

Additionally, applicants should disclose any financial aid they receive, such as:

  • Educational loans and outstanding balances
  • Personal contributions toward tuition
  • Employer tuition reimbursement, external grants, or private scholarships

Those who received a Federal Pell Grant as undergraduate students should also report it on their application.

Why Apply for SOE Scholarships?

Scholarships significantly reduce tuition costs and minimize student debt. As a result, many students can focus on their studies without financial stress. Moreover, securing funding through SOE scholarships allows students to pursue their academic goals with fewer financial barriers.
