Thailand’s Famous Ghosts and Their Chilling Stories

1. Krasue

2. Mae Nak

5. Pret

Pret represents the spirits of individuals who died burdened with sin. These ghosts appear as thin, emaciated beings with bloated stomachs and are often seen begging for food at temples.

6. Phi Am

Phi Am targets men specifically. She appears as a beautiful woman at night to seduce her victims. However, beneath her beauty lies malicious intent.

While these ghost stories remain unproven by science, they offer a fascinating glimpse into Thai culture. Exploring these legends provides a deeper understanding of Thailand’s rich and diverse folklore.
