The DESY internship 2024 is available for everyone who is a recent graduate or student of the master’s program. The program will be based on professional activities related to your area of preference and the series of lectures. The field-related activities will help you overcome the challenges of your career growth, and lectures will help you augment the subject-based knowledge. The lectures will be delivered in English language, so international students with good command of English can easily clutch this opportunity via zoom or webcast while staying at their home place. At the end of this program, you will feel that your research skills will have been relatively improved a lot.

Program Duration:
- The duration of the DESY traineeship 2024 in Germany starts in July and will continue for 8 weeks.
Program Dates:
- The DEST International Summer Student Program will take place from 6 July – 5 September 2024.
Financial Support:
- 1200 euros monthly as a subsistence allowance is granted to everyone.
- People coming from Hamburg and its surroundings will be able to avail of the subsistence allowance of 850 euros monthly.
- Traveling expenses will be reimbursed for all if you have traveled by plane, train, or car.
Eligibility Criteria of the DESY Summer Students Program in Germany:
- Having completed three years of full-time studies at university in physics, computing or relevant disciplines can apply.
- Having obtained their Bachelor’s degree can apply.
- Having obtained their Bachelor’s degree and currently studying for a Master’s degree can apply.
- Should not have availed of the summer program at DESY before.
- Having a good command of English.
- Having good computing skills.
- Should have EU-Conformed Vaccination.
- Should be committed to serving the full period of the program at DESY.
