Meet the Fully Funded Delegates and Top Global Schools of Japan Youth Summit 2025

Osaka, Japan — October 2025, The Japan Youth Summit 2025, organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), successfully concluded on October 12–15, 2025, in Osaka, Japan. The summit gathered over a hundred outstanding young leaders representing more than twenty countries, united under the theme “Innovate for Tomorrow.”

This flagship international event provided a platform for global youth to exchange ideas, present innovation-driven projects, and collaborate on solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants engaged in panel discussions, project exhibitions, and networking sessions focused on innovation, sustainability, and cross-cultural understanding.

Out of more than 44,000 global applicants, the summit recognized exceptional participants through its Fully Funded Delegate Program — a YBB initiative that supports talented and innovative young leaders to join the summit at no cost. Following a highly competitive process involving essay reviews, interviews, and project assessments, only six delegates were awarded the Fully Funded opportunity.

The Fully Funded Delegates of Japan Youth Summit 2025 are:

  • Alina Erkulova – Kyrgyzstan
  • Marc R. Claude – Canada
  • Sil Vennxae O. Necesito – Philippines

In addition, YBB honored two institutions as the Top Global Schools for their students’ active participation and exceptional performance during the selection process:

  • MAN 2 Kota Malang (Indonesia)
  • Asy Syahid Quranic School

The fully funded program reflects YBB’s ongoing commitment to making global leadership and education accessible to all, regardless of financial background. By providing such opportunities, YBB empowers youth to expand their impact and represent their nations on an international stage.

“Youth Break the Boundaries believes that empowering youth through collaboration and innovation is the foundation of a better tomorrow. These delegates exemplify the spirit of change and the courage to lead,” stated the YBB Executive Team.

One of the fully funded delegates, Marc Ruben Claude from Canada, expressed his gratitude and reflections after the summit in a post on LinkedIn:

“44,000 applicants. 6 selected. This week took me from Japan to global networking opportunities. I’m grateful to be one of the 6 fully funded delegates out of 44,000 global applicants to the Japan Youth Summit in Osaka. Thank you Youth Break the Boundaries Foundation and congratulations to all the other delegates.”

As one of YBB’s flagship international programs, the Japan Youth Summit continues to strengthen the organization’s mission of developing young leaders who are ready to bridge innovation with social impact. Through initiatives like the Fully Funded Delegate Program, YBB reaffirms its dedication to supporting global youth in creating meaningful change within their communities.
